This research project focused on identifying how innovation can be effectively introduced into the current road engineering industry. The work involved analysing the existing state of industry practices, exploring emerging technologies and methodologies, and assessing key barriers to adoption such as cost, risk perception, regulatory constraints, and industry resistance to change. The objective was to develop practical insights that could support stakeholders in understanding the value and feasibility of implementing innovative solutions.
